7 reframes to help support you in Mapping Your Path (+ in life)

7 reframes to help support you in Mapping Your Path (+ in life)

How we see the world impacts how we move through it.

When we feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of what’s next, the stories we tell ourselves can keep us in place—or they can open up possibility.

These 7 reframes are the kind of small but powerful shifts that can help us make aligned progress—especially when it feels hard to start.

They’re pulled straight from the kind of work we do in Mapping Your Path, and they echo a big theme in Part 2 of my book, OVERRIDE! What if there was another way? A pocket playbook for possibility 📓.

How can we challenge outdated stories and find a new way forward?

How we see the world directly impacts how we show up. A simple reframe of how we look at something can change everything + open up possibilities.
Shifting how we see a situation can change everything. Rather than inaction, a reframe can open up possibility to make progress. Small shifts -> big change
Outdated story: I need to have everything figured out before I start. Reframe: Clarity comes from taking action.
Outdated story: I don't know what I'm doing. I'm lost. Reframe: I know more than I think. I may feel lost at times, but it's an opportunity to explore new possibilities.
Outdated story: I don't want it to look like I don't know what I'm doing. Reframe: We're all figuring it out as we go. I love learning, experimenting, and trying new things.
Outdated story: I need to feel confident before I start / sign up/ do the thing. Reframe: Confidence comes from taking action and celebrating the small steps.
Outdated slide: I don't have anything to say/contribute. Reframe: My ideas matter.
Outdated story: I don't have time. Reframe: I make time for myself and what matters to me, even if it's 2 minutes a day—it all adds up.
Outdated story: I have to do this alone. Reframe: We're not designed to do this alone. There's power in asking for help + doing this in community.

If one of these reframes resonated with you, you’ll love what’s inside Mapping Your Path.

We kick off the next 3-month adventure—Mapping Your Path: OVERRIDE! PlaygroundFriday, May 16th. I hope you’ll join us!
