“For the last 30 years I have spent so much time getting to know myself, I have taken many programs, workshops, etc and it is a gift how magical MYP is. Anne has created something very special and her style of leadership and the way she guides the group is the perfect balance of impulse/nudge and giving us space, all while feeling very close to us if we need her.

The wisdom from Anne and the collective wisdom from the group, the kindness and judge free zone, the resources, the exercises, my journal, the connection calls, community, the international group.

During the past 3 months I reconnected with JOY in a way I didn't plan/expect. I consider myself pretty joyous but now it is at a new level. So many of the exercises and ideas (tiny experiments) bring me so much joy and make me giggle just thinking about them.

Most often I want to have an END result, something to show for the work I put into an idea or project. I am giving myself permission to be ok with exploring even if it means leaving things in the exploring stage.”

“I appreciate having MYP and this community through this phase [of life]. Having gone through the exercises, reading the conversations [in the community], and above all the Connection Calls, gave me a lot of what I didn’t even know I needed. Above all I’m leaving here with acceptance. Acceptance of where I am, no longer running my business or looking for a next leadership role, but in a full time caregiving role that was very unexpected.

Letting go of that identity wasn’t easy, questioning what my role is now, and [ultimately] realising the label doesn’t matter. I can’t imagine doing anything else right now. My main intention going forward: to take out time for myself and take care of my health.”

“MYP helped me refocus my priorities and do a deeper dive into what makes me happy compared to other workshops I've done. It also gave me so many new ideas and resources that I can continue to work with on my own. It confirmed my belief that I thrive in creative communities that are different than my usual professional community. “

“Much of my recent life has been extremely challenging over the last two years. The whole thing has brought me back to life.  From meeting wonderful people in the community to meeting myself through the exercises, to your wonderful, kind and fun support and encouragement, I have adored the whole thing.  It has rejuvenated me and made me appreciate all life has to offer me.

And most importantly, I have shifted my mindset.  "What if there was another way?" is now a daily mantra in our house with my kids. Life feels full of possibility for me now.

I live in rural Scotland and loved MYP for meeting new people and being part of an international community was so important to me. Learning from others, hearing their perspectives and just knowing that other people are exploring their lives was invigorating for me. I love having the opportunity to read the MYP collective thoughts — it always brings a new/different perspective and helps things click.

MYP far exceeded my expectations. I expected to explore the direction and focus of my life through a fun creative process. What I hadn't expected was such an impactful process of unlocking how I think about my life and how to approach reframing my thinking.

The three months flew by, but looking back over the exercises and journaling notes, I realise how much I have integrated a new way of thinking. As the weeks have gone on, I have solidified that and trust in my intuition and inner knowing.

The value of MYP was clearly explained from the outset, but it was only by exploring it for myself that I realised how much more it helped me evolve ways of thinking and behaving. I've absolutely loved doing the exercises for my curiosity and creativity to have a way to express myself.

Your role in all of this is to gently push me out of my comfort zone, connect dots, and to encourage sharing in the community —ultimately leading me to new perspectives. None of what I have done through MYP would be possible to deeply explore, embed and integrate, if I were to use a tech tool. The messiness of the exploration process is where the magic lies for me. That, and the fun, creative process.”

“Having a full time job has been all consuming for me. I recognize the importance of ensuring my identity is not tied to it and I use MYP to help uncover other parts of me but I also use MYP to enhance the work me.

When things get hectic at work, I rely on MYP and the MYP community to get re-energized and to gain perspective. I’m not always able to make the live sessions, but when I watch the replays it feels like a live session. Anne has a remarkable talent for making the replays feel like live sessions. “

“It's funny to say, but Mapping My Path led me back to myself. I saw genuine thoughts and memories come out as if they've been in the back of the closet, under the bed, on a dusty shelf. And reframing has been the most helpful lesson I learned.”

“MYP feels like BREATHING. In the past three months, I shifted to BELIEVING. My biggest insight was THIS TIME AND SPACE MATTERS.

My favorite part of MYP is all the resources and inspiration from humans in real time and in community because they always get me unstuck and help me feel connected.”

“MYP taught me that it's ok (essential, even) to take time for myself, to think, be creative and not just be caught up in the day to day of normal life every single day. I loved the workshops. I couldn't attend them all live, but you've designed them so well that I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything by watching them on replay.

What I loved most about them was that I had to put aside 1.5 hours for myself, to think and reflect, listen to your wonderful words of wisdom and do the creative exercises. The exercises are carefully planned and all link together so perfectly that I didn't even realise the full effect until I looked back later.

I loved the connection calls and the online community, they were such great sources of wisdom and creativity. I finished MYP with fresh ideas and a renewed excitement for life and what could be possible, I will definitely be back for more in the future.”

“As a longtime MYPer, no matter how many times I do the exercises, I always learn something new. Even when it feels like I’m standing still, I can look back and see that I’m actually moving forward. Small steps, bit by bit—it’s all adding up.”

“When I first signed up for MYP, I was completely overwhelmed by the life/career transition I was about to make. Luckily, I felt so grounded by the MYP timeline and community. Anne encouraged me to move forward by getting started even before I felt totally "ready." I started my business and found my first clients! I also felt that MYP was a safe space that allowed me to think creatively about running a business in a way that supports me. Just the kind of program that I needed: kind accountability, creative ideas, and community. Looking back to the beginning of MYP, I'm so amazed at the momentum and progress I made, all the while keeping my priorities straight: my health and my family. Thank you Anne and the MYP community!”

“I think it's safe to say that almost my whole life has changed in the past few years since joining Mapping Your Path. The "container" of the workshop has helped me to find focus and has given me space to pursue my dreams. Since joining, I've started my own business, walked a camino (a dream that was 10+ years in the making!), studied yoga in India, and spent time working remotely from Paris. A big part of what makes MYP special, alongside Anne's creative coaching and inspiring approach to life, is the global community of people who join the program. If you're considering it (and you should) - just do it. It's a very valuable investment and well worth the time and money.”

“I started Mapping Your Path with goals that shifted as we progressed. Anne helped connect the dots when I felt stuck and asked questions to help me think about things in new and different ways. I'm walking away with the tools and confidence I need to live my best year yet both personally and professionally. I truly looked forward to ‘doing the work’ each month and having focused time to address my needs – dedicating this time to my growth felt like self-care in the best way.”

“When I found Anne, I was in a place of uncertainty, somewhat lost in the proverbial desert of later middle age. Through her guidance, brilliant  activities and focus on fun, the path began to clear. Through MYP, I was continually having aha moments, learning more about myself and really enjoying the process. I bought Anne’s book OVERRIDE! and that just added to the magic. I am so grateful to have found Anne. I can’t recommend her enough!”

“I would like to express my gratitude to all of you in this amazing community, for the inspiration and the openness to be part of your life, especially to Anne for curating and building up this space for all of us! One of the key decisions I made this year (as per my yearly reflection) was to sign up for MYP. The timing was perfect, since I was on a sabbatical leave, not only exploring Taiwan but also the possibilities that lie ahead. MYP as a container was of great support during that time - it was a game changer!

The workshops and reflection sessions and the connection calls are great. I like the frequency, not too much but enough to keep in touch. The Slack community makes me feel really connected. MYP is a journey where you discover places within and around yourself, where you can be completely yourself. You will be leveraged and inspired by a community of trust and confidence, and the more you open up, the more you get out of it. ”

“Anne and MYP gave me the greatest gift — permission to carve out time in my day for me, with intention. As a single mom, I spend all of my time focused on my child's needs and care. I knew I needed something to look forward to, just for myself. I had taken Anne's banana-mapping class and loved it, so I took the leap. I haven't looked back since!

First of all, the MYP community is rooted in empathy, possibility and curiosity — who wouldn't want to be a part of that? Through Anne's gentle guidance, the workshops and the support of my fellow Mappers, I've rediscovered joy in creating/making art that had been long dormant. I'm learning to push back on my people-pleaser ways and use my voice. And I'm kinder and more generous to myself.”

“A recent therapy session really drove home how much I’m getting out of MYP (and OVERRIDE!). The exercises feel meditative. As I talk to my therapist I feel like I actually do have a pretty good handle on things, or a good mindset and outlook.

Thank you to all the wonderful humans I met on the Connection Calls, and to Anne for helping us all get to know one another. It was very energizing, and I was excited to learn and grow with everyone! I loved this Slack community so much. The practice of checking in and checking out was really helpful, and I hope to continue it even when I’m not doing MYP (even though I'm coming back!!). “

“MYP was beyond my expectations! Thanks Anne for all the cheers and all the effort you put into this. I felt seen and appreciated. And being in this cohort was one big joy. I loved the way you built it up and loved all the inspiration you and the other participants are giving. It really helped me to understand myself a little bit better and set fitting goals for the year.

I had many takeaways. One is that drawing helps my thinking, your exercises truly triggered that. Another one is that dropping anchor from time to time helps my productivity.”

"During the banana map workshop, these words just came without any thinking: "create the community you seek." This was such a special activity for me because by the end, that banana had all these insightful drawings and words on it. This was the culmination of the work I had done within Mapping Your Path, all leading me to taking the next step to launch my business that helps people amplify their climate actions."

“I came into this looking for direction, but what I found was a way of being.

Thanks to this community and Anne, I have reconnected to my creative energy. I have finally been able to uncover many limiting beliefs that were holding me in place. I disrupted the idea that I have to be in front of a computer from 9–5. What a huge process that has been! I am so grateful for all the conversations and resources that helped me along the way. I have truly enjoyed all the exercises, workshops, resource shares, and Connection Calls. It has been such a beautiful, excellent space.

I now have a writing practice, a Substack, and this morning I wrote for 2+ hours. I really had a hard time stopping myself. In fact, I missed a Zoom call because of it. But this wouldn't have been possible 3 months ago. I'm feeling focused and grateful.”
